The Jackalope Pasadena Artisan Fair is back this spring on April 26–27, 2025 , taking over Central Park with over 200 local makers, food trucks, and good vibes. This isn’t just any craft fair—it’s a celebration of handmade goods, indie artistry, and Pasadena’s creative community. Whether you’re into original fashion, unique art, or just wandering the park with great food and good company, this event’s for you.

What to Expect at Jackalope Pasadena

Jackalope takes over the big grass field at Central Park and fills it with 200+ white artisan tents, each one home to something handmade, creative, and just plain cool. You’ll find everything from original fashion and handcrafted jewelry to sustainable home decor, unique art, small-batch foods, and other unexpected gems. Every vendor is handpicked for their creativity and quality — it’s not your average craft fair.

Bring your friends, your kids, your dog — whoever you like hanging with on a sunny weekend. There’s usually live music or small performances scattered throughout the park, and the food truck scene always delivers (think tacos, delicious sandwiches, lobster rolls, sweets, vegan bites, and much more). It’s the kind of event where you can wander, snack, shop, and chill. It’s a great way to enjoy a weekend in the park.

Jackalope isn’t just about shopping. It’s about hanging out, supporting local makers, and being part of the Pasadena creative scene. Come for the goods, stay for the good vibes.

A Local Legacy

Founded in 2015 by Melissa Kohout and Sara Diederich, Jackalope Arts was born from a shared dream to create “a community meets artisan event.” Since then, the fair has grown into a cherished fixture in Pasadena, Burbank, Denver, and beyond, providing a platform for independent makers and a destination for those who value handmade and local.

Melissa brings a background in event planning and interior design, while Sara comes from LA’s music and arts scene, with experience in PR and creative event coordination. Together, their passion and energy have shaped Jackalope into something truly special—a place where creativity, community, and craftsmanship intersect.
